Bagel out of my belly

by Christopher on March 8, 2010

Evan wanted some toast yesterday but he already had a bagel so we told him he could not have it.  When we tried to explain he already had a bagel he  kept telling us he didn’t want a bagel and keep whining that he wanted toast.  After a few times of explaining he already had a bagel and him saying he doesn’t want the bagel anymore we asked him if he wanted us to take the bagel out of his belly.  We asked him how are we going to do that, he thought about it for a few seconds and said maybe a ladder.  About a minute later he mentioned he had a good idea and that he could use a fishing pole.

The Scary Rain Forest Cafe

by Christopher on February 24, 2010

We took bug (Evan) to the Rain Forest Cafe yesterday.  It was a lot of fun, he really loved looking at the animals and the fish.  This isn’t the first time we took him.  We bought him a lightning glass that flashes spinning lights when he presses the button to turn it on.  When we were eating dinner and the place would have the “lightning storm” where all the animals went nuts and flashing lights he did something that was pretty funny.   He would hold up the glass and turn it on, almost like he was saying cheers and cock his head to the side towards the glass.  He looked like he was a little scared and was using the cup to light the place up.  We had a lot of fun, but he didn’t eat much of his lunch, seems to be a reoccurring problem right now.

Yummy in the Tummy

We broke down and bought Evan an ice cream sandwich and thought this was a pretty funny shot.

I took some pictures of Evan today under some nice lighting.  I think they came out pretty good.

Eggs & Toast

by Christopher on June 28, 2009

After Evan wakes up in the morning and has done his standard routine of running around exploring he starts thinking about breakfast.   He will start yelling “Breakfast Time!” like Sid the Science kid.  If you ask him what he wants, Evan always replies “Eggs & Toast!”, although this isn’t limited to breakfast time.
